The Wood Buffalo Regional Science Fair (WBRSF) is organized and operated by the Wood Buffalo Youth Science Foundation (WBYSF), a registered non-profit charity (BN: 832360226RR0001) established to provide local students with opportunities to interact with local researchers and engage in project-based science. Our Board of Directors consists entirely of volunteers and includes local industry scientists, elementary and high school science teachers, university instructors, and other science enthusiasts. To learn more about how the WBYSF is governed, please read our Constitution and By-Laws.
Membership in the WBYSF is free and open to any person over eighteen years of age. Members will receive regular updates pertaining to the society’s activities and will be invited each year to attend our Annual General Meeting and all Special General Meetings. Individuals interested in joining the WBYSF are asked to submit an Application for Membership.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
The WBRSF and our other events would not be possible without the generous contributions of our sponsors. The majority of our funding is used to finance fair day logistical costs (such as facility and equipment rentals and catering), awards and prizes, public speakers, publicity, and travel to the Canada-Wide Science Fair. Details of our latest fiscal budget are presented below.
